Hi everybody! Today I will write about Euthanasia. I will begin by explaining what euthanasia is: Euthanasia is that voluntary, intentional, studied and conscious procedure performed by a doctor to accelerate the death of a terminal patient of an incurable condition; at the conscious, studied and deliberate request of the patient or family members, who, fully aware that there is no curative treatment for the condition; they ask the doctor to perform it on the patient in order to end the intolerable and intractable pain and suffering. There are different laws on euthanasia in each country, but Active euthanasia or assisted suicide are not legal in Chile. Passive euthanasia, however, is legal. Since 2012, the regulation of patients' rights creates the right to informed consent, which allows accepting or refusing any medical treatment. Patients can refuse treatment when they are terminal. In my opinion the euthanasia should be legal in Chile, because all people ha

Hi everybody! My post is about ‘Everyone should be a vegetarian’. Introduction... I think that each person should be free to choose what to consume, however I believe that meat consumption should be reduced, the high production of animals for consumption considerably damages the environment.   Therefore, I believe that all people should reduce the consumption of animals, before prohibiting their consumption. Supporting.... Some examples: Set aside violence: when you choose to be a vegetarian you choose life without violence in all its facets. That implies not opting for what include environmental, animal or human abuse. Become aware of what we eat: when you stop eating animal products, you necessarily have to focus on what you consume daily, in that way you inform yourself and you become more aware with the food you give your body. Hi everybody! I went to the Parque Nacional Villarrica on February 8, 2019. I went for 10 days. I traveled with a work group, mostly university students dedicated to preservation the environment and its ecosystems, we also worked in the restoration and maintenance in different areas of the park. For example, we did signage for indicate the path to the viewpoint ‘Los Volcánes’, we cleaned the different paths of trekking, we build a wooden base at the foot of the oldest araucaria, so that visitors have better access.  In my adventure through the park, I camped and the first three nights I almost died of hypothermia. We wake up at 7 in the morning every day. The hardest part of the trip it... was that during the 10 that we were in the park we could not bathe, we had to wash our body for parts hahahaha  It has been one of the best experiences, since I met many people with the same interest in caring for the environment as I did. I created friendship ties. Today, we s

Hi everybody!  Today I will write about my favorite destination, Brazil. I have always dreamed with live in Brazil, specifically in Jericoacoara, because is a wonderful place and I like the life of sea, since a child, with my family we always traveled to Pichilemu beach, it's very close to my home. Since then, I think that developed a stronger connection with the sea. I would like to have a life simple and I walk barefoot to the side of the sea, perhaps practice my favorite sport ‘Surf’ and I could learn more about this sport. Despite of, I dreaming of a quiet and simple life, I would like to practice my career as a teacher, working with children in places of high economic vulnerability, thinking that education is a great way to combat poverty, both economic and intellectual. I really feel connected to Brazil, it has always been my favorite destination, that's why I decided to learn Portuguese with the hope of one day being able to travel and set

Hi everybody! I have selected 3 images of which I feel that represents a lot of the town where I come from. As you can imagine I am not from Santiago, I was born and believed in a little urbanized town, with lots of countryside, green areas and vineyards. I don’t know if you have ever heard of Peralillo, this town is located in the Region of Libertador General Bernardo O’higgins, you can find it by the famous Colchagua wine route. It is characterized by being a country place, rooted in its traditions, quiet, with very friendly people. There are no traffic congestion, nor the contamination that exists in Santiago. https://englishfacso2019level4.blogspot.com
